Three New Hacks

You won't regret doing these three things.

Good morning!

I’m currently at my favorite WeWork … an aisle seat on a plane, heading to Shoptalk in Vegas on a lovely five hour flight. I’m getting more work done on this trip then I’d realistically get done in three days, so I can’t really complain.

Last week was one of my favorite weeks of 2025. Not just because I finally got to go up to Tampa to visit my brother & his wife’s new home, or the fact that I bought my mom a new car, but also the fact that we as a business made a conscious decision to slow the company down.

Every week we push as hard as possible to crush new revenue targets, unlock more partnerships and onboard more members. The Founders Club has surpassed its 2024 revenue in the first 80 days of 2025 and has officially became a $1M ARR business.

But we realized something. We were sailing in the world’s most beautiful yacht, but there was holes starting to form on all sides of the boat bringing water onboard. Either we could sa another couple hundred miles and worry about the water damage later or save the boat, plug up the holes, and move so much faster after the repairs are done.

So what were the repairs? Let’s get into it.

Rebuilding the Org Chart:

Does everybody on your team actually know who they should go to when a certain problem comes up? My team certainly didn’t and it was finally time I listened.

As The Founders Club has officially grown to almost 20 employees, there was confusion across the org on who is actually responsible for what. Have you found yourself needing 6 people to complete the most simple task? It was all due to confusion on who was actually responsible for each and every little task. We sat down as an executive team for 3 hours to rebuild the entire org structure.

What we were able to accomplish:

  1. New department heads were now established

  2. Weekly touch points across department heads are now required

  3. Eliminated 3 pointless meetings a week

  4. Employees are not joining meetings they do not need to be in

We also established a new “Golden Rule””

If you don’t speak up twice in a meeting, you are removed from the meeting. You are wasting your time and my money, and neither are good things.

Outsourcing Tasks Team Wide

After reading this email, whether it’s later tonight or tomorrow I challenge you to make a list of the 5-10 things that you either are “wasting” your time on or know you should be doing but simply don’t have “the time to do”.

My team is perpetually asking me to do follow ups via email, reach out to certain people on LinkedIn, leave comments on social media posts for growth, and a list of 10+ other things.

It is time to stop saying I should be doing this and start doing it.

I’ve empowered the entire company to put together this list of mindless tasks. We are then working with an overseas staffing company to find a few virtual assistants ($4-10/hr) who can help give us back our time, knock out these tasks, and unlock more revenue.

I’m expecting our entire team’s efficiency to go through the roof for $250 per employee per month. It all starts with having our processes dialed in, us willing to spend the time properly training, and not expect their to be some friction in the beginning. The upside seems like a no brainer.

Reimagining All Our Content Creation

We then spent half a work day looking through all of the content we create as a business. The funny thing is, regardless if you’re selling socks on the internet, pilates class, a forklift, or a membership to the world’s best community all our content can broken down into four buckets.

  1. Value -> Free Value to the watcher

  2. Authority -> Why should they listen to you?

  3. Personal -> Who are you?

  4. Sales -> What do you want from them?

We then broke down examples of each of these and what do you know….

We realized we crushed at content creation for items #1-3 but SUCKED at #4 so badly.

My entire online persona has been around helping entrepreneurs, giving advice, and connecting with people. What we realized is that we are awful at creating an effective call to action because we don’t want to be labeled as shitty sales people. Nobody likes being sold to. It’s legit one of life’s worst feelings. Like when you go into a store and the associate just hawks over you asking if you have any questions, fills you all the “LIMITED TIME 20% OFF” sales that happen to end today, and constantly asks you if you want to try on a size. We all know exactly what I’m talking about. It sucks.

So here’s how we are addressing the problem.

We defined ALL of our possible call to actions and then assigned the proper CTA to each of the four types of content that we create. Rather than you just saying “shop now” we’ve created these CTA’s to entice customers to take a next step with us. Here’s what we came up with.

  1. Follow our social media page

  2. Subscribe for the newsletter

  3. Sign up for our webinar

  4. Join our next event

  5. Join our weekly speaker series

  6. Download & save our Podcast

  7. Book an intro call

  8. Sign up for our next retreat

  9. Refer a friend

  10. Share this post

Regardless of what product you are selling, I bet you that you can incorporate atleast 50% of these into your content strategy.
